Hardware RAID

If you want to install AIX on top of disks controlled by a RAID adapter (like a SCSI RAID5 PCI adapter) then you need to set up the disks before installing AIX.
This sounds like "Catch 22" but here is what to do - it is quite easy once you know the tricks.
